There is a garden in every childhood, an enchanted placewhere colors are brighter, the air softer, and the morningmore fragrant than ever again.- Elizabeth Lawrence
Born and raised in CA, I married my favorite person in the world, Russ Litke, in the Oakland Temple in 1985. We have 6 fantastic kids, a great son-in-law and a lifetime of memories! Most of those memories have been captured on film and are a great source of joy to our family. I believe there is no such thing as too many photos and I have albums and boxes to prove it. My kids and their friends have been my greatest subjects over the years. I've found that taking photos of the most shy, reluctant child (from toddler to teen) breaks down barriers and creates an atmosphere for relationships to flourish. It is hard for me (yes, my kids do complain) to drive from point A to point B without spontaneous stops because there are so many interesting things along the way that I feel the need to photograph. Barns, fences, rocks, trees, horizons, clouds, animals, flowers, falling apart rusted cars, flowers, rivers, streams, mountains, trains....the list goes on and on.
